Job Description

Job Title: Sales & Marketing Executive

Location: Rajkot, Morbi, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad

Department: Sales


Profile :

  • To become custodian/in-charge of the entire Area assigned
  • To plan for the sales activities, tours, and routes after doing the geographical study and suspecting prospecting of the potential leads (Dealers/ Modern Trade Channels) of the Assigned area
  • To have a complete understanding of the Company's products, technical details, etc., and to be able to clear all the queries of the Dealers/ Modern Trade Channels and customers
  • To ensure the Area’s primary targets get achieved, and to make strategies to dilute the stock available at the Dealers/ Modern Trade Channel’s point
  • To act as an outward window for the company, collecting competitors' information, market conditions, customer preferences, etc.
  • To play vital roles in the Dealers/ Modern Trade Channel’s life cycle:

- Scouting - Identifying potential distributors from the options

- Appointing

- Enabling - Initial Training and handholding

- Performance

- Retention

- Replacement

  • To ensure the implementation of the company’s Marketing Strategies and objectives to the Dealers/ Modern Trade Channels
  • To do review meetings with the Dealers/ Modern Trade Channels, help to set targets, and strategy formulation on how they can achieve the sales targets.
  • To do field visits, understand and take feedback regarding the Company, and ensure/ establish product recognition in the Assigned area
  • To work to increase the Company’s business and help the Dealers/ Modern Trade Channels increase their business, investment, going above and beyond, sales skill, and ROI increment
  • To understand the competitor's position, and identify their strengths and weakness, discuss with management and formulate a Counter strategy
  • To follow the sales processes as per training, use all the forms and formats, keep updated on sales and management techniques
  • To maintain data security and confidentiality
  • To act as a substitute in the absence of your colleague and take the emergent responsibilities
  • To fill up the Daily, weekly, and monthly sales MIS Reports
  • To act according to company HR policies rules and regulations


Education :

Any Graduate/ BBA/ MBA - Marketing


Experience :

3 to 5 Years (Marketing & Sales Experience Preferred)

(Industry - Home, Kitchen, and Personal Utility Products Manufacturing, Heavy Machinery , Machine Tools, Machine Manufacturing)


Skills :

Team Development, Target Completion, Compliances, Budgeting, Market Knowledge, Market Study


Interpersonal Skills :

Good Communication Skills, Motivation, and Ability to handle rejection, Verbal and written communication
