Job Description

  • Job Title: Operations Manager – WarehouseKey ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementOversee all warehouse functions including Inward, Sorting, Picking, Outbound, and Inventory management.
  • Ensure timely vehicle unloading and acknowledgement via email for vehicle receiving.
  • Plan and allocate manpower requirements in line with volume fluctuations.
  • Manage and lead a team of 150+ staff independently while fostering teamwork.
  • Drive loss control measures across the site.
  • Analyze operations miss reports and productivity metrics for process improvements.
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and compliance standards within the warehouse.
  • Provide timely responses to customer queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate non-compliance issues to management promptly.
  • Verify and revert on any short/excess shipments received.
  • Optimize layout-based manpower planning for improved productivity.
  • Regional P&L ManagementEnsure zero customer debits by maintaining operational accuracy.
  • Prevent productivity losses to sustain margins.
  • Manage P&L performance in line with budget targets.
  • Customer Relationship ManagementProvide proactive support to customers based on requirements.
  • Resolve customer queries and share timely reports.
  • Handle customer escalations and implement measures to reduce complaints in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Qualifications & CompetenciesMinimum 2–3 industries experience with at least 4+ years in a relevant industry.
  • Strong exposure to Distribution Center (DC) Operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in an advanced IT-enabled environment; tech-savvy mindset.
  • Full knowledge of SAP and WMS transactions.
  • Graduate / Postgraduate from a reputed university, preferably in Operations or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and complex operations.
