Travel Consultant

Job Description:

A Travel Consultant assists clients in planning, organising, and booking their travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, tours, and activities. We provide expert advice on destinations, travel requirements, and itineraries while ensuring the best value and experience for the clients. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and up-to-date knowledge of travel trends and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on travel options, destinations, and packages based on their needs and preferences.
• Arrange and book transportation (flights, trains, car rentals) and accommodation.
• Create customised travel itineraries, including tours, activities, and excursions.
• Provide information on travel regulations, visas, insurance, and health requirements.
• Handle changes, cancellations, and emergencies during clients’ trips.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products, services, and industry trends.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best rates and deals.
• Process payments, issue tickets, and manage booking documentation.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
