Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse operations including inventory management, dispatch, inward/outward logistics, team supervision, and ensuring efficient material handling. The role requires strong coordination with procurement, production, and accounts teams to maintain smooth workflow and accurate stock control.

• Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory ManagementMaintain accurate stock records (raw materials, finished goods, hardware, accessories).

• Ensure regular stock audits and reconciliation.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
• Implement FIFO/LIFO systems where applicable.

2. Inward & Outward OperationsSupervise material receipt, unloading, and inspection.

• Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entry.
• Manage dispatch planning as per sales and production schedules.
• Verify packaging, labeling, and documentation before dispatch.

3. Warehouse OperationsMaintain organized storage systems for easy accessibility.

• Optimize warehouse space utilization.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards are maintained.

4. Team ManagementSupervise warehouse staff including helpers, loaders, and supervisors.

• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity.
• Train team members on SOPs and safety practices.

5. Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with:

• Production team for material requirements
• Purchase team for incoming materials
• Accounts team for stock and billing alignment
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

6. Safety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to safety norms and proper handling of materials.

• Minimize damages, losses, and pilferage.
• Implement warehouse SOPs and continuous improvement practices.
