FTC - Fuel Sourcing

1.Ensure precautionary measures in Anticipation of shortage.  

2.Identification of options and implementation of a strategy to prevent loss of availability.  

3.Ensure cost reduction by anticipating leakages/risk mitigation.  

4.Control over coal quality, minimize grade slippage and transit loss. 

1.Ensure dispatches of rakes as per the desired schedule.  

2.Track all relevant development in the sector and implementing the beneficial parts in NPL. 

3.Advocacy and liaising with relevant Govt and non-Govt offices.  

4.Coordination with a commercial for complete reimbursement on account of grade slippage declared by CIMFR.  

5.Coordination with F&A for Railway freight payment, BG renewal regarding SECR, and LC payment of coal in rail mode.  

6.Active participation in various cross-functional exercises viz. energy accounting, yard loss, and minimization of under-recovery.  

7.Support in coal petitions and appeals as and when required.  

1.Ensuring operations as per PO and requirement of coal.  

2.Liaising and coordination with MoP, MoC, CEA, RB, FICCI, APP, CIL, NTPC, PSPCL (Fuels DPT), non-SECL, etc.
