Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial decision-making through accurate and timely accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update books of accounts, including journal entries and ledgers
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, income tax returns, and other statutory filings (as applicable)
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
• Monitor expenses and help control costs
• Maintain proper documentation and financial records

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Professional certification (CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA) – preferred
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
