Job Description: Credit Card Sales Executive

Position Overview: A Credit Card Sales Executive is responsible for driving the acquisition of new credit card customers, promoting credit card products, and meeting sales targets. The role involves identifying potential customers, explaining the benefits of credit cards, and providing tailored solutions that meet customer needs. The Sales Executive will also handle customer inquiries, follow-up on leads, and maintain relationships to ensure long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and prospect potential customers to achieve credit card sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients by understanding their financial needs and providing suitable credit card solutions.
  • Promote and cross-sell various types of credit cards (rewards, cashback, premium, etc.).
  • Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with potential customers.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide timely follow-up to existing leads and customers to ensure conversion.
  • Assist customers in understanding credit card terms, interest rates, and benefits.
  1. Market Research:

  • Stay updated on current market trends, competitor products, and changes in regulations related to credit cards.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams regarding customer preferences and potential improvements.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Maintain and update the customer database with relevant information.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting requirements.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Educate customers about credit card features, billing cycles, payment terms, and responsible credit card usage.
  1. Training and Development:

  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and sales techniques.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and improve sales performance.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the banking, finance, or insurance industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present products and negotiate with customers.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales ability, with experience in customer acquisition and closing deals.
  • Customer-Centric: Ability to understand customer needs and provide personalized solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of handling objections and finding solutions to customer concerns.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, MS Office, and basic banking tools.

Work Environment and Conditions:

  • Typically office-based, with some travel for client meetings and sales events.
  • May require weekend or evening work depending on customer needs or sales deadlines.
