Position:     Sr Finance Manager

Reporting To: CEO

Role Summary

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for leading financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management of the organization. The role requires strong leadership, analytical ability, and deep knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial controls to support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Control

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Monitor actual performance vs budget and analyse variances.
• Provide strategic financial insights to management for decision making.

Accounting & Reporting

• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
• Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards / Ind AS / IFRS.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

• Oversee GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESIC and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate audits – statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits.
• Handle assessments, notices, and departmental queries.

Cash Flow & Treasury

• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital.
• Monitor bank limits, borrowings, and interest costs.
• Maintain strong relationships with bankers and financial institutions.

Cost Control & Profitability

• Drive cost optimization initiatives.
• Analyse product / project profitability and margins.
• Support pricing and investment decisions.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Strengthen internal control systems and SOPs.
• Ensure audit observations are closed in a timely manner.
• Identify financial risks and mitigation strategies.

 Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounts team.
• Allocate responsibilities and review team performance.
• Promote process automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA Intern Preferable ) & MBA Finance
• Graduation in Commerce / Finance.

Experience

• 6–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and compliance.
• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills.
• ERP exposure (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Dynamics, etc.).
• Advanced MS Excel and financial modelling.
• Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High integrity and attention to detail.

• Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Budget adherence and cost control.
• Compliance score and audit outcomes.
• Cash flow management.
• Team productivity and development.
