Position Overview

We are looking for a certified and experienced Material Handling Equipment Trainer to train underprivileged individuals in the safe operation of forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. This role offers a unique opportunity to create employment opportunities in logistics, warehousing, and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive training programs for forklift, boom lift, and scissor lift operation

• Deliver theoretical instruction on equipment mechanics, safety protocols, and operational procedures

• Provide hands-on practical training in equipment operation, maneuvering, and load handling

• Teach pre-operation inspection, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting

• Train on warehouse operations, material handling, and load management

• Educate on safety regulations, hazard identification, and accident prevention

• Conduct driving assessments and skill certification tests

• Maintain training equipment and ensure proper functioning of all machines

• Prepare training documentation, progress reports, and certification records

• Coordinate with logistics companies, warehouses, and construction firms for placement

• Mentor trainees with limited educational background and build their confidence

• Contribute to poverty alleviation through skill-based employment generation

Minimum Educational Qualification

Option1: ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle or related trade

Option2: Graduate in Any Discipline

Option3: Certificate-NSQF Level 4.5- Driver Trainer certification

Specialization: Driving

Training Exp. 1 year

Additional Essential Requirement

• Valid driving license for relevant category (minimum 5 years old)

• License should be for appropriate vehicle category for material handling equipment

Required Skills and Competencies

• Certified expertise in operating forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts

• Strong understanding of warehouse safety and material handling best practices

• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting

• Familiarity with OSHA/IS safety standards for material handling equipment

• Excellent practical demonstration and teaching abilities

• Communication skills in Hindi and local languages

• Patience and ability to train individuals with limited formal education

• Physical fitness and stamina for practical training sessions
