Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR professional from the construction industry to manage end-to-end human resource functions including recruitment, manpower planning, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, employee relations, and site HR operations. The role involves close coordination with project teams and head office to ensure smooth HR operations across sites.

Key Responsibilities

  1. End-to-end recruitment for site and head office positions (Engineers, Supervisors, Staff, Labor contractors).
  2. Manpower planning as per project requirements and timelines.
  3. Coordination with project managers and department heads for staffing needs.
  4. Handling onboarding, joining formalities, documentation, and induction.
  5. Managing attendance, leave records, and shift schedules (site & HO).
  6. Payroll coordination, salary processing support, and contractor payments.
  7. Handling statutory compliances: PF, ESI, Labour Laws, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, etc.
  8. Managing labor contractors, vendors, and workforce records at sites.
  9. Employee engagement, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
  10. Maintaining HR MIS, employee records, and compliance documentation.
  11. Supporting performance management and appraisal processes.
  12. Ensuring compliance with company HR policies and procedures.
  13. Handling exits, full & final settlement, and clearance process.
  14. Coordinating audits and inspections related to labor laws.
  15. Supporting administration and site HR activities as required.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations in construction/site environment
  • Sound understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently at site locations
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, HR MIS, and payroll coordination

Qualification & Experience

  • MBA in HR
  • 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in construction / infrastructure / real estate sector
  • Experience in handling site HR and labor management is mandatory

Preferred Candidate

  • Willing to travel or relocate to project sites
  • Experience in EPC / Real Estate / Infrastructure projects
  • Immediate or short notice period preferred
