PHP Laravel Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate PHP Laravel Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using Laravel and related technologies. You will work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-structured code following industry best practices.
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and ensure seamless user experiences.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) to design, optimize, and maintain schemas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and deliver features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Manage version control using Git and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure security and data protection standards are applied to all applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Laravel, PHP, and web development trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a PHP Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Laravel.
• Proficiency in PHP 7/8, Laravel 8/9/10+, Composer, and MVC architecture.
• Strong understanding of MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab workflows.
• Understanding of server management and deployment (Linux, Nginx/Apache) is a plus.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vue.js, React.js, or other front-end frameworks is plus.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, Digital Ocean, GCP) is plus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
