Retail Sales Executive

We are looking for a proactive Jewellery Sales Executive responsible for both showroom sales and marketing activities. The role requires actively generating leads, increasing store footfall, and driving sales through field promotions and local marketing initiatives, along with delivering a premium in-store customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a polite and professional manner
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
• Handle billing, invoicing, and cash/card transactions
• Maintain product display and store cleanliness
• Keep track of stock levels and inform management about replenishment needs
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns efficiently
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales
• Maintain records of sales and customer interactions
• Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum qualification: 10+2 / Graduate (preferred)
• Prior experience in retail or counter sales (0–3 years depending on role)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of billing software / POS systems
• Customer service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Actively participate in daily/weekly BTL activities to generate leads and increase footfall
• Conduct field marketing activities such as:
• Pamphlet distribution
• Society/apartment visits
• Corporate outreach and local shop tie-ups
• Represent the brand in exhibitions, mall activations, roadshows, and kiosks
• Promote offers, festive campaigns, and new collections directly to potential customers
• Generate, record, and manage customer leads/data from BTL activities
• Perform follow-ups on leads and convert them into store visits and sales
• Support execution of seasonal campaigns (wedding season, Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras, etc.)
• Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure effective campaign implementation

BTL activities are a mandatory and performance-measured part of this role. Candidates must be comfortable with fieldwork and active customer outreach.
