Senior Project Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, with experience in leading cross-functional teams. A B.Tech degree will be an added advantage, as it will help provide a deeper understanding of technical aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end management of projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring all project goals are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Conduct regular status meetings with project teams and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any issues.
• Implement best practices in project management methodologies and tools.
• Oversee the technical and operational aspects of the project and provide guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to ensure all deliverables are met.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure that contracts and terms are aligned with project goals.
• Continuously assess and manage project risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech preferred) or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, with at least 3-10 years of experience in project management roles.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
• Experience in leading large-scale projects and managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of the retail sector or a similar industry.
• Experience in managing capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx) projects.
• Technical background with the ability to understand engineering aspects of projects.
