Job Description
- Role & Responsibilities – Store Staff (Retail)Customer Service
- Greet customers politely and assist them with product inquiries
- Provide accurate information about products, offers, and pricing
- Ensure a positive shopping experience and handle customer complaints politely
- Sales & Billing
- Assist customers in selecting products as per their needs
- Upsell and cross-sell products to meet sales targets
- Operate billing/POS systems and handle cash, UPI, and card payments
- Store Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the store
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are properly displayed
- Follow store opening and closing procedures
- Inventory Management
- Check stock levels regularly and report low stock to the supervisor
- Receive, verify, and arrange new stock
- Prevent stock loss, damage, or theft
- Visual Merchandising
- Arrange products attractively as per company guidelines
- Update displays based on promotions and seasonal offers
- Compliance & Discipline
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and grooming standards
- Ensure proper use of ID cards and uniforms
- Team Coordination
- Support store manager and team members in daily operations
- Coordinate during peak hours to manage customer flow
- Reporting
- Share daily sales updates and feedback with the store manager
- Report any issues related to customers, stock, or systems
