Job Description
- Store Staff – Roles and Responsibilities1. Customer ServiceGreet customers politely and assist them in finding products.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Ensure a pleasant and satisfactory shopping experience.
- 2. Sales SupportPromote products and help achieve daily/weekly sales targets.
- Suggest additional or alternative products to customers (upselling and cross-selling).
- Inform customers about ongoing offers, discounts, or loyalty programs.
- 3. Store OperationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, counters, and the overall store area.
- Ensure all products are properly tagged and displayed as per guidelines.
- Refill stock from the storeroom to display shelves as needed.
- 4. Inventory ManagementCheck stock levels regularly and report shortages to the store manager.
- Assist in stock counting and help in managing inventory records.
- Ensure damaged or expired items are removed from display.
- 5. Billing and Cash Handling (if assigned)Operate POS (billing) system accurately.
- Handle cash, cards, and digital payments responsibly.
- Issue receipts and ensure correct billing for every transaction.
- 6. Compliance and SafetyFollow company policies, grooming standards, and attendance rules.
- Ensure safety protocols are maintained in the store.
- Report any incidents or security concerns immediately.
- 7. TeamworkCoordinate with fellow team members for smooth store functioning.
- Support in opening and closing store duties.
- Participate in daily briefings and training sessions.
