Job Title: Accountant (with Tally Knowledge)

Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand

Reporting To: Senior Accountant / Chartered Accountant

Job Summary:We are a reputed Chartered Accountancy firm based in Ranchi looking for an experienced and dedicated Accountant with strong Tally knowledge. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing accounting tasks, statutory compliance, and day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries.

• Key Responsibilities:Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) on time
• Handle TDS computation, payments, and quarterly returns
• Assist in the preparation of final accounts, balance sheets, and income statements
• Perform bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable management, and ledger scrutiny
• Support the audit team in field work, documentation, and vouching
• Coordinate with clients for collecting data and resolving queries
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory laws
• Maintain proper documentation and support records for internal and external audits
• Requirements:B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification
• 1–3 years of work experience in accounting (preferably in a CA firm)
• Proficient in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
• Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation laws
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Office tools
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
• Preferred Qualifications:Candidates pursuing CA Inter / CMA Inter or semi-qualified CAs
• Experience with ROC filings, income tax e-filings, or MCA portal
• Familiarity with Zoho Books, Busy, or other accounting software (optional)
