Job Description / Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Site Civil Engineer to manage and execute civil works for a hospital construction project. The candidate must be capable of handling site execution strictly as per approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Execute civil works as per approved drawings, GFC drawings, and specifications
• Supervise RCC works, AAC block masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing works, etc.
• Ensure proper line, level, alignment, and quality at site
• Coordinate daily work with contractors, supervisors, and labor

2. Quantity Measurement & Billing

• Take accurate site measurements (RCC, masonry, plaster, flooring, etc.)
• Prepare RA Bills (Running Account Bills) as per BOQ
• Verify subcontractor bills and material quantities
• Maintain measurement books (MB) and quantity records

3. Drawing & Documentation

• Read, interpret, and execute work according to architectural, structural & services drawings
• Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS) and check steel quantities
• Maintain site records: DPR, hindrance register, material consumption, etc.

4. Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure work is executed as per IS codes, CPWD/MPBDC norms (as applicable)
• Check workmanship, material quality, and approved make list compliance
• Coordinate with consultants, PIU, and government officials for inspections

5. Site Management & Coordination

• Manage manpower, subcontractors, and vendors at site
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, HVAC & medical gas teams
• Ensure timely completion as per project schedule
• Maintain site safety, housekeeping, and discipline

Required Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in building construction
• Experience in hospital / institutional / government projects preferred

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction drawings & BOQ
• Expertise in measurement, RA billing & quantity estimation
• Good command over AutoCAD (basic to intermediate)
• Knowledge of MS Excel for billing & reporting
• Ability to independently handle site activities
• Good communication & coordination skills
