Desktop Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux) and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
• Assist in user account management, email setup, and access permissions.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and security patches.
• Document support requests, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with IT teams for escalated issues and hardware/software upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards.
• Provide remote and on-site support to employees as needed.
• Maintain IT inventory and track hardware/software licenses.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk role.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
