Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and managerial expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and dynamic team of professionals.

You'll ensure that vehicles meet the standards of Quality, Cost, and Delivery that align with customer expectations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as engineering, maintenance, and operations), oversee maintenance activities, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of preventive and corrective maintenance of locomotives, underframe equipment, and HVAC units, but also troubleshoot pneumatic brake systems and manage major equipment replacements.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Preventive & corrective maintenance of locomotives

  • Maintenance of critical systems such as underframe equipment, air supply units, and brake equipment

  • Handling HVAC unit and roof equipment maintenance

  • Troubleshooting and maintaining the pneumatic brake system

  • Replacing major equipment like traction motors and transformers

  • Adhering to company procedures, particularly regarding Quality and Health & Safety

  • Planning, organizing, and prioritizing responsibilities effectively

  • Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing facilities as assigned

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical from a recognized university (Regular Course)

  • Experience or understanding of rolling stock manufacturing/services (3-5 years preferred)

  • Knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems

  • Familiarity with maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Proficient in English and Hindi

  • Flexibility and adaptability to new ideas and environments

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Commitment to health and safety precautions
