🎯 Job PurposeThe Paramedical Faculty & Student Counsellor is responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical education, while also providing academic, career, and personal guidance to students to ensure holistic development, retention, and successful career outcomes.

• 🧑‍🏫 Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic & Teaching ResponsibilitiesDeliver theory and practical classes as per the prescribed syllabus and academic calendar.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, teaching aids, and skill lab modules.
• Conduct hands-on training, demonstrations, simulations, and case-based learning.
• Ensure students follow professional ethics, discipline, and clinical protocols.
• Student Counselling & Mentorship ResponsibilitiesProvide academic counselling to help students understand subjects, exams, and performance improvement.
• Offer career counselling regarding job roles, higher education, internships, and career pathways in healthcare.
• Guide students on professional behavior, communication skills, and workplace readiness.
• Identify academic, behavioral, or personal challenges and support students through structured mentoring.
• Coordinate with parents/guardians when required for student progress and discipline matters.
• Assessment & Student Progress MonitoringConduct internal assessments, practical exams, assignments, and viva.
• Maintain student academic records, counselling notes, attendance, and performance reports.
• Track student progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Clinical & Practical TrainingSupervise skill lab activities, clinical postings, and hospital internships.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control, safety guidelines, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with hospitals and clinical partners for smooth clinical exposure.
• Administrative & Institutional ResponsibilitiesParticipate in academic planning, curriculum development, and faculty meetings.
• Support admission counselling, orientation programs, seminars, and workshops.
• Assist in maintaining institutional quality standards, documentation, and audits.
• Contribute to student retention and satisfaction initiatives.
• 🎓 Educational QualificationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant paramedical field:
• 
  
• Medical Lab Technology (MLT)
• Radiology / Imaging Technology
• Operation Theatre Technology
• Dialysis Technology
• Emergency & Trauma Care
• Cardiac Care Technology
• Training or certification in teaching, counselling, or mentoring will be an added advantage.
• 💼 Experience0–2 years: Freshers with strong subject knowledge and counselling aptitude may apply.
• 2+ years: Teaching, clinical, or student counselling experience preferred.
