Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and maintain the hospital’s financial records. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support financial reporting and audits.

• Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate books of accounts for hospital operations
• Handle billing records, patient payments, and insurance claims accounting
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Maintain cash flow, bank reconciliations, and ledger entries
• Process salaries, incentives, and statutory deductions
• Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits
• Monitor expenses and assist in budgeting and cost control
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient-related data

• Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com preferred)
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup
• Knowledge of hospital billing systems and insurance processes is an advantage
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar)
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory regulations
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience:1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Hospital or healthcare experience preferred
