Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, stool, etc.)
- Perform routine laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of test results
- Maintain laboratory records, logs, and patient reports
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the lab environment
- Assist doctors and medical staff with laboratory requirements
- Handle biomedical waste as per hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Qualifications & Skills
- DMLT / BMLT or equivalent certification
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory (preferred)
- Knowledge of laboratory instruments and testing procedures
- Attention to detail and accuracy in test results
- Basic computer knowledge for report entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
