Job Title: Territory Business Executive
Location: Salem & Outstation (Within Tamil Nadu)
Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹16,000 per month (Based on experience & performance)
Reporting To: Senior Territory Executive / Chief Executive
Job Purpose
The Territory Business Executive is responsible for managing assigned customer territories by maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, generating consistent sales orders, and expanding the company’s customer base by identifying and converting new leads.
This role plays a critical part in driving territory growth, strengthening customer engagement, and maintaining smooth business operations in the assigned region.
- Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Visits & Territory CoverageVisit approximately 30 customers per day, including both existing and potential customers.
- Follow a structured territory route plan to maximize coverage and efficiency.
- Maintain regular engagement with key customers to strengthen relationships.
- Sales Order GenerationGenerate regular sales orders from existing customers.
- Introduce and promote new products to customers.
- Negotiate competitive pricing within company guidelines to secure orders.
- Customer Relationship ManagementMaintain strong professional relationships with laboratories, hospitals, and medical dealers.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate with the office team for quick resolution.
- Provide basic product updates and information to customers.
- Collection ManagementEnsure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
- Follow company collection policies and timelines strictly.
- Submit collected cash or cheque to the office without delay.
- Business DevelopmentIdentify new potential customers within the assigned territory.
- Convert new leads into active business accounts.
- Support the expansion of the company’s distribution network.
Territory Travel PlanWork schedule will follow a structured rotation:
- 3 days – Local visits (Salem region)
- 3 days – Outstation visits (within Tamil Nadu)
This rotation ensures both market penetration and customer coverage.
- Reporting & DocumentationMaintain proper records of:
- Customer visits
- Orders received
- Collections made
- New leads generated
- Update daily activity reports in the Lystloc App.
- Coordinate with the office team for order processing and dispatch updates.
Company Asset ResponsibilityHandle company materials responsibly, including:
- Billing documents
- Executive bag
- ID card and uniform
- Customer database and confidential information
- Collection cash and payment instruments
Any loss or misuse of company property will be subject to company policy.
Work Timings & Leave PolicyWork Hours: 10:00 AM – 08:45 PM
Weekly Off: Sunday
Leave Policy
- 1 Paid Casual Leave per month
- Leave must be approved in advance by the reporting manager.
Allowances & BenefitsPetrol Allowance
Provided based on the distance traveled for official work.
Outstation Travel Allowance
Applicable for travel outside Salem.
Food Allowance
Provided during outstation visits.
Bike Service Allowance
₹3,000 per year for maintenance of the bike used for company work.
- Preferred Candidate ProfileBasic experience in sales, distribution, or field marketing is preferred.
- Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Basic smartphone usage for reporting and app updates.
