Job Title: Marketing Cum Collection Executive (Electrical Distribution)

Company Profile: We are a leading distributor of premium electrical brands, including Polycab Wires & Switchgear and Wipro Lighting, serving the Salem district. We are looking for a result-oriented individual to join our field team to drive sales growth and manage market collections.

• Key Responsibilities :Market Expansion: Identify and visit new electrical retail shops, hardware stores, and contractors across the Salem district to promote Polycab and Wipro products.
• Sales Generation: Achieve monthly sales targets by maintaining strong relationships with existing dealers and securing new orders for wires, switchgears, and lighting solutions.
• Payment Collection: Take full ownership of the collection cycle by ensuring all outstanding market payments are collected from retailers within the stipulated credit period.
• Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact between the dealership and local electricians or retailers, resolving any product-related queries promptly.
• Reporting: Maintain daily visit logs and provide clear updates on sales bookings and successful collections to the management.
• Candidate Requirements:Experience: Previous experience in field sales or marketing (especially in the electrical, hardware, or construction materials industry) is highly preferred.
• Local Knowledge: Must have a thorough understanding of the geography and market areas within the Salem district.
• Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills in Tamil (English is a plus). The candidate should be comfortable handling cash and cheque collections responsibly.
• Logistics: Must possess a valid driving license and a two-wheeler for daily field visits.
• Education: Any degree or diploma or 12th or 10th (Candidates with a background in ITI/Electrical Engineering will have an added advantage).
