Solar Installation Engineer Supervisor – (PM Surya Ghar Residential Projects)

• Site Assessment & Design
• Conduct detailed residential site surveys (individual houses/apartments).
• Perform shadow analysis, roof type assessment (RCC, sheet, tiled), and load calculations.
• Design optimized rooftop solar systems as per MNRE guidelines.
• Prepare SLD, layout drawings, and BOQ specific to subsidy-compliant systems.
• Scheme Compliance & Approvals
• Ensure system design complies with PM Surya Ghar scheme norms and DISCOM regulations.
• Coordinate for net metering applications and approvals with local DISCOM.
• Verify eligibility criteria and documentation required for subsidy processing.
• Technical Planning
• Select components (DCR modules, inverter, structure) as per scheme requirements.
• Ensure proper system sizing (1 kW, 2 kW, 3 kW residential categories).
• Plan earthing, lightning protection, and safety systems as per standards.
• Execution Coordination
• Guide installation teams for correct implementation as per approved design.
• Coordinate with vendors, logistics, and customers for smooth execution.
• Address site-level technical issues and design deviations.
• Testing & Commissioning
• Conduct pre-commissioning checks (polarity, insulation resistance, earthing).
• Supervise grid synchronization and net meter installation.
• Ensure system commissioning as per DISCOM and MNRE procedures.
