Role: Android Developer (Full-Time)Location: Virtual/Hybrid (Currently remote; if required, in-office presence will be requested with prior notice)

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Android applications from scratch.
• Feature Implementation: Collaborate with designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define, design, and integrate new app features.
• API Integration: Work with RESTful APIs, third-party services, and cloud-based backends to enhance app functionality.
• UI/UX Optimization: Build smooth, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces by applying modern design principles.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure maximum speed, responsiveness, and scalability of Android applications.
• Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting: Debug, diagnose, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Code Quality & Maintenance: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure app security, data protection, and compliance with relevant policies.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Android development tools, frameworks, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java (Kotlin experience is a plus).
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and MVVM architecture.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Glide).
• Knowledge of Firebase, Room Database, SQLite, and cloud integration.
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Familiarity with the Google Play Store app release and deployment process.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
