Legal Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Law (LL. B) from a reputed institute/university.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
• Prior experience in the NBFC/Banking sector with a focus on collection recovery is mandatory.

Key Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of recovery laws including Section 138 of the NI Act, Arbitration & Conciliation Act, and related legislation.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, complaints, and petitions.
• Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to effectively coordinate with courts, police, and enforcement agencies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Undertake field visits for debt recovery from defaulting customers and maintain updated MIS reports.
• Represent the company in court proceedings across the state.
• Draft and file criminal complaints, including those under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C.
• Manage arbitration proceedings by filing petitions under Sections 9 and 17 and oversee execution matters.
• Coordinate and participate in Lok Adalat hearings and conciliation camps.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies for the execution of summons, warrants, and other enforcement actions.
