JR52981 Global Learning and Development (GLAD) Senior Specialist

As a Global Learning and Development (GLAD) Senior Specialist at Micron Technology, Inc., you will create a learning environment where team members are inspired to grow, empowered to learn and connected to resources and opportunities to enable personal growth and performance. You will work with the GLAD Manager, site leaders and various stakeholders to identify and recommend solutions to close performance gaps and increase business value. You will deploy learning initiatives in our Gujarat site and will also have the opportunity to design, develop, deploy and evaluate global training solutions, with the focus in areas of Onboarding, Soft Skills development, and Leadership development.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Serve as Learning Partner and Consultant to Site Leaders

  • Understand site challenges and needs, and partner with site leaders and business partners to propose holistic, effective development solutions, while leveraging on global resources, to meet business needs.
  • Create site/functional aligned development strategy and ensure seamless execution, taking into consideration site priorities and needs.
  • Ensure buy-ins from leaders at various levels on aligned development approach.

Serve as an Internal Facilitator for Leadership development and Site development needs.

  • Facilitate leadership development programs to all levels of leadership and ensuring application of learning via learning labs and the use of level 3 evaluations.
  • Oversee the logistical aspects of solution delivery, including scheduling classes, monitoring request/enrollment levels, and ensuring participant completion of Core trainings.
  • Monitor surveys and other evaluations to measure learning and performance as a result of learning initiatives.            

Enhance Learning and Development Solutions and Delivery through Collaborative Engagement with our Global Leadership development team, GLAD program managers, People Organization Business Partners and Business stakeholders.

  • Meeting up with business stakeholders regularly
  • Participate in a Learning and Development facilitation community of practice.
  • Establish and improve processes and standards for effective facilitation and instructional design.
  • Participate in content and quality assurance reviews for training interventions to ensure relevancy or to improve effectiveness.

When opportunity arises, Design, Develop, and Evaluate for Learning and Development solutions that incorporate best practices to effectively address organization’s Learning and Development (L&D) Objectives and Needs 

  • Identify learning objectives, performance outcomes, and assessment strategies to deliver quality learning solutions.
  • Ensure the creation and curation of content is appropriately matched to instructional objectives, organizational needs, desired performance outcomes, and assessment strategy.
  • Evaluate solution effectiveness according to critical levels of evaluation for initial deployments and through routine reviews.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field 

  • At least 5 years of learning, development and facilitation experience. Organization Development/Effectiveness experience is preferred. Managerial experience is a plus  

  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal partnering and consulting skills. 

  • Effective project management, problem-solving and solutioning skills. 

  • Strong facilitation skills. 

  • Sound understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies and enabling of experiential learning. Organizational Development experience will be preferred.
