MEP Design Engineer

The MEP Design & Site Engineer is responsible for both design development and on-site execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. The role ensures that MEP designs are technically sound, coordinated, and compliant with standards, while also supervising site activities for quality, progress, and adherence to approved drawings.

• Prepare concept, schematic, and detailed MEP designs (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting).
• Perform technical calculations and sizing using relevant design software.
• Prepare layouts, sections, and details in AutoCAD/Revit.
• Develop BOQs, technical specifications, and design reports.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC, BS, IEC).

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of MEP works at site.
• Ensure installation matches approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with civil and structural teams to resolve site clashes.
• Monitor subcontractors’ performance, manpower, and material requirements.

• Collaborate with architects, structural team, and other disciplines for coordinated MEP solutions.
• Conduct and attend design reviews, site coordination meetings, and client discussions.
