Production Manager

• Job Summary-We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage production operations for sweets, industrial catering, and frozen foods (including frozen sweets and frozen snacks). The candidate must have hands-on knowledge of sweets production, MAP packaging, frozen food processing, and snack production, along with strong staff and quality management skills.
• This is a key operational role responsible for smooth day-to-day factory functioning, production planning, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities -

• Production Management
• Plant, manage, and execute daily production for:
• Sweets manufacturing
• Industrial catering production
• Frozen foods – sweets and snacks
• Ensure production targets are met as per demand and dispatch schedules
• Coordinate production, packing, freezing, storage, and dispatch

Frozen Food & Snacks Operations

• Handle production processes for frozen sweets and frozen snacks
• Monitor freezing, storage, handling, and thawing SOPs
• Ensure product consistency, taste, texture, and shelf-life
• Coordinate with cold storage and packaging teams
• MAP & Packaging Operations
• Manage MAP packaging for sweets and frozen products
• Ensure proper sealing, gas flushing, shelf-life standards, and labeling
• Maintain packaging quality and minimize rejection/wastage

Staff & Shift Management

• Arrange manpower for production, packing, and frozen operations
• Allocate duties, shifts, and workloads effectively
• Maintain discipline, hygiene, and productivity on the shop floor

Quality Control & Hygiene

• Ensure strict quality control at all stages of production
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and internal SOP compliance
• Monitor raw material quality and finished goods standards

Day-to-Day Factory Operations

• Oversee daily factory operations and trouble shooting
• Reduce wastage and improve production efficiency
• Ensure coordination between production, QC, stores, and dispatch

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in sweets manufacturing (mandatory)
• Practical knowledge of frozen food and snack production
• Experience with MAP packaging and shelf-life-based products
• Exposure to industrial catering production
• Ability to manage manpower and production planning
• Hands-on factory floor leadership approach

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in sweets factories, frozen food units, or large food plants
• Familiar with bulk and scalable production systems
• Quality- and process-oriented mindset
• Long-term association preferred
