Purchase Manager

Job Responsibilities:

* Lead procurement of plastic raw materials and metal components.

* Develop sourcing strategies to ensure cost, quality, and timely supply.

* Manage vendor development, negotiations, and performance evaluation.

* Handle procurement of consumables, MRO, and packaging materials.

* Coordinate with Production & PPC for material planning and inventory control.

* Lead CapEx/project procurement (molds, dies, machinery, plant setup).

* Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.

* Prepare MIS, cost analysis, and ensure documentation compliance.

Key Requirements

* 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing procurement/supply chain.

* Strong knowledge of plastics, metals, and assembly manufacturing.

* Experience in vendor development and project procurement.

* Good negotiation and cost control skills.

* ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and strong Excel skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment.
