Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and confident Business Development Intern to help expand Delidel, our B2B platform for restaurants, hotels, cafeterias, and other food businesses. The role involves visiting potential business clients in the field, introducing them to Delidel, explaining how the platform supports their day-to-day procurement needs, and assisting in onboarding them onto the platform.

This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable meeting new people, explaining business solutions, and working in a target-driven field environment.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Visit restaurants, hotels, cafeterias, cloud kitchens, and other food businesses to introduce Delidel.
  • Explain Delidel’s B2B platform, product offerings, and value proposition to potential clients.
  • Identify prospective businesses and generate leads through field visits and market research.
  • Build relationships with owners, managers, chefs, purchase teams, and decision-makers.
  • Convince interested businesses to register and onboard on the Delidel platform.
  • Assist clients in understanding the onboarding process and required documentation.
  • Maintain daily reports of visits, meetings, leads generated, follow-ups, and onboarded clients.
  • Coordinate with the internal sales and operations team for smooth onboarding and activation.
  • Gather market feedback, competitor information, and customer requirements from the field.
  • Follow up with interested businesses to improve conversions.

Eligibility / Requirements :

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed graduation in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Management, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Willingness to travel locally for field visits.
  • Basic understanding of sales, business development, or client handling is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, presentable, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to maintain reports and share daily progress updates.

Preferred Skills :

  • Good persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of B2B sales or merchant onboarding.
  • Ability to explain services simply and convincingly.
  • Comfortable using mobile apps, WhatsApp, Google Sheets, or CRM tools for updates.
  • Problem-solving attitude and ownership mindset.

What the Intern Will Learn :
