Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing accounting operations related to real estate assets, including property accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial records for multiple properties and supports management with timely financial insights.

*Record and monitor flat sales transactions, customer advances, and installment schedules

*Maintain customer ledgers and reconcile booking amounts, milestones, and final settlements

*Ensure proper revenue recognition in line with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)

*Account for construction costs, project expenses, and work-in-progress (WIP)

*Prepare project-wise profitability and cost-to-complete reports

*Monitor collections, outstanding receivables, and coordinate with sales teams

*Handle VAT/GST or other indirect tax accounting related to flat sales

*Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

*Reconcile bank accounts, escrow accounts, and customer receipts

*Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting

*Assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and fund utilization tracking

• Ensure compliance with local real estate regulations (e.g., RERA, escrow rules if applicable)
