Job SummaryWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Vendor Development Intern to support the expansion of Delidel’s supplier network. The role involves understanding the current procurement mechanisms for sourcing fresh items from producers, aggregators, and FPOs, identifying potential supply partners, and meeting them to explore business opportunities and take discussions forward.

This role is suitable for someone who is comfortable with field visits, supplier interactions, market understanding, and building strong business relationships within the fresh supply ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

• Study and understand the existing procurement and sourcing mechanisms for fresh products.
• Research and identify potential producers, aggregators, FPOs, and other supply partners.
• Visit and meet potential vendors and suppliers to introduce Delidel and discuss collaboration opportunities.
• Understand vendor capabilities, product range, supply consistency, pricing structure, and operational strengths.
• Evaluate vendors based on quality, reliability, scalability, and business fit.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Assist in vendor onboarding discussions and documentation processes.
• Collect market insights related to sourcing trends, supply gaps, pricing, and competition.
• Maintain daily reports of supplier meetings, discussions, follow-ups, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal procurement and operations teams for further evaluation and onboarding.

Eligibility / Requirements :

• Currently pursuing or recently completed graduation in Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Commerce, Management, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with field visits and vendor meetings.
• Interest in procurement, supply chain, vendor development, or sourcing operations.
• Basic understanding of fresh produce supply chain is preferred.
• Self-driven, observant, and willing to learn.
• Ability to document findings and share structured updates.
