Manager (Hydromechanical)

Responsibilities

• Supervise fabrication, welding, erection, alignment, and testing of hydro-mechanical systems including penstocks, gates, valves, hoists, and cranes.
• Coordinate daily with civil and electromechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of works.
• Review technical drawings, vendor submissions, and method statements for compliance with specifications.
• Monitor progress against schedules; identify and escalate risks or delays.
• Support procurement activities, vendor inspections, and factory acceptance tests (FAT).
• Implement quality control procedures and ensure adherence to HSE requirements.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, progress reports, and commissioning records.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and client representatives for technical and site matters.
• Supervise commissioning of H&M systems in coordination with electromechanical and control teams.
• Supervise interfaces activity between H&M works and civil structures during embedded part installation.
• Identify risks related to design changes, supply delays, and construction challenges.
• Implement mitigation strategies to avoid cost overruns and schedule slippage.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards

Qualifications

• B .E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience.
