About the Role.

We are looking for a Junior Sales Executive to support sales and business development activities for power/distribution transformers, with a strong focus on government and public sector departments such as DISCOMs, Electricity Boards, PWD, Municipal Corporations, Railways, and other PSU organizations.

The role involves regular field visits to government offices, coordination for tenders and inquiries, and follow-ups with officials. This position is ideal for a travel-friendly, disciplined, and relationship-oriented candidate at an early stage of their career.

Key Responsibilities

●     Visit government/public sector departments (DISCOMs, Electricity Boards, PWD, Municipal Corporations, PSUs, etc.) for sales follow-ups and relationship building

●     Assist in promotion and sales of transformers for government and utility projects

●     Support senior sales team in tender-related activities, including document collection, inquiry tracking, and follow-ups

●     Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and department officials as required

●     Collect market intelligence related to upcoming government projects and tenders

●     Prepare and submit visit reports, inquiry status, and follow-up reports

●     Coordinate with internal teams (technical, production, accounts) for quotations, approvals, and order execution

●     Ensure timely communication with customers regarding offers, deliveries, and after-sales support

●     Maintain professional relationships with existing clients and help develop new accounts

Required Skills & Qualifications

●     Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field

●     1–2 years of experience

●     Basic understanding or interest in transformers / electrical equipment sales

●     Good communication and interpersonal skills

●     Comfortable with field work and frequent travel

●     Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Email)

●     Ability to learn technical products and sales processes quickly

Preferred Attributes

●     Exposure or interest in government / public sector sales

●     Understanding of basic tender processes and official communication

●     Willingness to travel extensively and work independently in the field

●     Professional attitude when dealing with government officials

●     Two-wheeler or four-wheeler license preferred
