Accountant

Role Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and preparing timely reports. The role requires proficiency in Focus accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) to manage and analyze financial data effectively.

• Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate books of accounts in Focus software.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and cash flow reports.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory filings in coordination with consultants.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing and assist auditors.
• Oversee purchase orders, vendor bills, and expense tracking.
• Prepare management reports and Excel-based analyses for decision-making.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for financial matters.
• Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 1–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry).
• Proficient in Focus accounting software and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting standards.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
