Job Description
- Maintain books of accounts including cash book, bank book, ledgers, and journals
- Record and verify all financial transactions, bills, vouchers, and invoices
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and income tax-related documents
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants
- Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets
- Maintain proper documentation for payments, receipts, and statutory compliance
- Assist management with financial planning and cost control
- Ensure timely salary processing and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, etc.)
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data
