Job Description

Desired Candidate Profile

•Candidate should be able to sell General Education services to our target

customers.

o Target Customer - Individual professionals who have high career potential and are

applying to top MBA programs at top international and domestic B-schools.

o General Education Services Portfolio – MBA Counseling, MBA essay editing and

evaluation, MBA interview preparation, GMAT preparation online service. To know

•Candidate should be MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing with around 2 years of

relevant experience with good socializing and networking skills

•Candidate should have excellent oral communication skills and should be able to

communicate & interact with Senior Executives (working professionals in top MNCs

– who are prospective customers of Gen Ed)

•Working to strategize various initiatives and draft appropriate business development

activities

•Working on presentations and proposals to be made to various forums

•Representing/assisting in representing General Education on various platforms –

reaching out to start-up online and offline communities

•Willing to work within a start-up culture

•Strong understanding of customer & market dynamics and requirements with

demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines

•Maintaining prospective customer database

•Knowledge of using job portals and database intensive social networking sites (like

LinkedIn, Naukri.com) would be an added advantage


•Generate revenue through various online and offline sale, advertising & marketing

activities

•Responsible for following strategies & achieving given objectives, within stipulated

time frame (generate revenue)

Job Requirements

•For selling “Services” for MBA Application Assistance for globally top ranked

business schools

•Identifying prospective customers and then converting them to customers by selling

MBA application preparatory services

•Candidate should preferably be from sales background.

•Prior successful sales and marketing experience in both international and domestic

higher education (MBA) advisory would be preferred

•Strong communication skills-should be able to speak, read and write English fluently

•Computer proficiency and internet savvy
