Job Description – Assistant Engineer (Fire & Safety) 

Location: Karkhana, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana 

Employment Type: Full-time (Office & On-site as required) 

Salary Range: ₹12,500 – ₹15,000 per month (Bond-Based Employment) 

Position Overview 

We are looking for a skilled Assistant Engineer with expertise in CAD to join our Fire & Safety Engineering team. The role focuses on creating precise 2D and 3D CAD layouts and design documentation for fire protection and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with NBC, IS, NFPA, and Fire Department standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

Ø Develop and update CAD drawings for fire hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, detection systems, smoke management, and evacuation plans. 

Ø Create concept, tender, shop, and as-built drawings based on project needs. 

Ø Ensure compliance with NBC, IS codes (IS 2189, IS 15105, IS 13039, IS 14489), and NFPA standards. 

Ø Manage drawing records, revisions, and documentation for inspections and approvals. 

Ø Assist with fire NOC submissions, layout approvals, and hydraulic design calculations. 

Ø Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and safety consultants for design clarifications. 

Ø Support risk assessments and integrate safety measures into building designs. 

Skills & Competencies 

ü Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) with strong command knowledge. 

ü In-depth understanding of fire protection systems and MEP layouts. 

ü Knowledge of NBC, IS, and NFPA fire safety codes. 

ü Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 

ü Ability to create professional and visually appealing presentations. 

ü Typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy. 

ü Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines. 

ü Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 

Education & Experience 

v ITI/Diploma in Civil or Fire & Safety Engineering. 

v AutoCAD Certification is mandatory.

§ Office Timings: 10:00 AM – 07:30 PM 

§ Employment Type: Bond Based for Two years
