Collection Telecaller

A collection telecaller's job involves making outbound calls to customers with overdue payments, negotiating repayment plans, updating CRM systems with call details, adhering to collection scripts and legal guidelines, and working towards monthly targets to recover outstanding debts professionally and empathetically. Key duties include resolving payment issues, maintaining records, and coordinating with internal teams for escalated cases. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Outbound Calling: Contact customers about overdue accounts, reminding them of payments and status.
• Negotiation: Discuss and set up feasible payment plans or settlements.
• Record Keeping: Accurately log all calls, updates, and agreements in the CRM.
• Follow-up: Track and follow up on promised payments.
• Compliance: Ensure all collection activities comply with company policy and legal regulations.
• Customer Service: Address inquiries and resolve payment-related disputes professionally.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with managers and other departments for difficult accounts. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Communication: Excellent verbal skills, active listening, and negotiation.
• Professionalism: Ability to handle difficult conversations with empathy.
• Technical: Familiarity with CRM software (like Salesforce) and data entry.
