Counsellor

Job Summary:The Admissions Counsellor will be the first point of contact for prospective parents and students. The role involves guiding families through the admissions process, building strong relationships, ensuring a smooth and positive enrolment experience, and supporting the school’s vision of delivering quality education.

• Key Responsibilities:Handle admission inquiries through walk-ins, calls, emails, and online platforms.
• Provide detailed information about the school’s curriculum, teaching methodology, facilities, and policies.
• Conduct school tours and counselling sessions for prospective parents and students.
• Maintain and update admission records and leads using CRM or manual tracking systems.
• Follow up with prospective parents to convert inquiries into admissions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for admission campaigns, open houses, and school events.
• Coordinate with the academic and administration teams for smooth onboarding of new students.
• Prepare weekly and monthly admission reports for management review.
• Stay updated with current educational trends and competitors’ offerings.
• Ensure that every parent interaction reflects the school’s values and professionalism.
• Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree (Education, Marketing, or related field preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in school admissions or customer service roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English fluency required; additional languages a plus).
• Strong sales and persuasion skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
