Export Manager

Description of Ex/Im Role:

• Create Proforma Invoices & Packing Lists
• Follow up for final revised PO’s and forwarder details to place the booking request
• Coordinate with factory for new orders and dispatching the containers
• Coordinate with CHA and forwarders to get the bookings and planning for the movement schedule
• Review paper work and documents for the final Invoices & packing lists
• Follow-up on THC payments and receive final BL copy
• Ensure shipping, handling, storage charges and customs are billed correctly
• Complete ECGC filling for the export Invoices every month
• Apply ECGC limits for the new buyers
• Track all the containers for payments and delivery status
• Update receivables based on the ETA and payment terms
• Coordinate the import of raw material and spares as per the factory requirements
• Track the Import shipments & clearance handling with CHA under SEZ till material delivery
• Maintain a complete, clear database that tracks container movement, upcoming orders, dispatched orders & samples couriered to the new clients (MIS).
• Interact with multiple stakeholders such as freight forwarders, transport service providers, customs house agents and maintain a good relationship with them
• Negotiate Ocean Freight rates, Transport, CHA & other Export Import related expenses
• File documentation for the export and imports
