Jewellery Sales Associate

A jewellery sales executive's roles and responsibilities include assisting customers in selecting and purchasing jewellery, achieving sales targets, and providing excellent customer service. Key duties also involve maintaining in-depth product knowledge, keeping the showroom clean and attractively displayed, managing inventory, and handling transactions accurately. Building strong customer relationships for repeat business and staying updated on current trends are also crucial aspects of the role. 

Customer interaction and sales

• Assist customers: Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide detailed information about different jewellery pieces, including craftsmanship, durability, and pricing. 
• Achieve sales targets: Work to meet or exceed individual and showroom sales goals. 
• Build relationships: Foster strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term loyalty. 
• Handle complaints: Professionally manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints. 

Product and store management

• Maintain product knowledge: Stay updated on the latest jewellery trends, products, and promotions. 
• Manage inventory: Monitor stock levels, perform stock checks, and assist with inventory management and replenishment. 
• Maintain store appearance: Ensure the showroom is clean, well-organized, and has attractive merchandise displays. 
• Process transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle sales transactions and payments using point-of-sale (POS) systems. 

Other responsibilities

• Provide expert advice: Offer personalized recommendations and expert advice to customers. 
• Report on sales: Prepare sales reports and provide feedback to management. 
• Participate in events: Assist with promotional events to drive sales.
