Key Responsibilities

• Material Preparation: Preparing and cutting metal components to appropriate dimensions and shapes, and cleaning them before welding. 
• Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements. 
• Equipment Setup: Setting up welding equipment, including torches, gas tanks, and regulators, according to job specifications. 
• TIG Welding: Performing precise TIG welding to join various metals like stainless steel, aluminum, and steel. 
• Quality Inspection: Inspecting finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards, codes, and dimensions. 
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and troubleshooting welding equipment and performing preventative maintenance. 
• Safety Compliance: Following safety procedures, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. 
• Collaboration: Working with engineers, supervisors, and team members to ensure project success and continuous improvement.
