Civil Engineer

Required Skills and Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in civil construction, site execution, and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality testing procedures.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and coordinate on-site teams and contractors.
• Familiarity with internal factory infrastructure projects (e.g., industrial flooring, sheds) is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities :

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the timely, cost-effective, and quality execution of all assigned internal civil works, including roads, side sheds, mezzanine floors, and other structural/utility additions.

1. Site Supervision and Execution

• Supervise all internal civil construction activities on site, ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate daily with labor contractors, material suppliers, and internal departments (e.g., Production, Maintenance) to ensure smooth workflow and minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure that all construction activities adhere strictly to quality standards and established safety protocols.
• Manage site logistics, including the efficient movement and storage of materials and equipment.

2. Quality Control and Inspection

• Conduct regular and detailed site inspections of ongoing work (e.g., foundation pouring, concrete curing, structural assembly).
• Verify the quality and quantity of incoming materials against purchase orders and specifications.
• Check and certify the work completed by contractors before approving payment milestones.
• Document all inspection results, quality issues, and corrective actions taken.

3. Planning and Coordination

• Assist in the preparation of detailed work plans, schedules, and resource estimates for internal civil projects.
• Track project progress against the schedule, identifying potential delays and proposing proactive solutions.
• Communicate project status updates, potential risks, and resource requirements clearly and regularly to Management And Internal Teams.
• Maintain a complete and organized record of all project documentation, including revised drawings, progress reports, measurement sheets, and contractor invoices.

4. Safety and Compliance

• Enforce strict adherence to site safety regulations and best practices at all times to prevent accidents and hazards.
• Ensure that all temporary structures, scaffolding, and working platforms are safe and compliant with standards.
