Production Head

Job Summary

The Production Manager will oversee daily plant production activities, ensure production targets are met with quality standards, maintain safe working conditions, and coordinate across production staff and departments. The role will support operational efficiency in manufacturing construction chemicals and allied products such as adhesives, PVC additives, waterproofing chemicals, etc. 

📌 Key Responsibilities

✔ Production Operations

Plan, schedule, and manage daily production workflow

Ensure production targets are achieved on time with required quality

Monitor machines, tools, equipment and report issues

Implement standard manufacturing processes and best practices

Enforce quality control standards and final product checks

Maintain production records and documentation

Ensure compliance with safety & environmental standards (ISO 9001 based process

✔ Team Supervision

Supervise & guide production staff

Assign responsibilities and monitor performance

Train workers on safety, machinery, and quality requirements

✔ Inventory & Materials Coordination

Coordinate with purchase and store teams for raw material availability

Track inventory usage and production inputs

Work with logistics to ensure timely supply of finished goods 

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

📚 Education

Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/BE in Chemical/Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering)

OR any relevant degree with strong production experience

🛠 Experience

3+ years experience in manufacturing/production environment preferred

Prior supervisory experience in chemical or industrial production

💡 Skills

Understanding of production planning & control

Quality inspection & compliance orientation

Good communication and team-management skills

Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP preferably)
