Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Component Design & Development
Design automotive pipe accessories such as brackets, clamps, supports, hangers, shields
Develop sheet metal components including mounting brackets, covers, enclosures, frames
Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with GD&T
Perform thickness selection, bend relief, corner relief, embossing & bead design
Conduct tolerance stack-up and fitment studies
Fabrication & Stamping
Design parts for fabrication processes: bending, welding, riveting, spot welding
Optimize parts for stamping operations: blanking, piercing, bending, forming, drawing
Support progressive, compound, and transfer die requirements
Work with manufacturing to ensure DFM/DFA compliance
