Production Manager

🏭 Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end production of electrical cables and wires

Plan and execute daily & monthly production schedules

Ensure compliance with IS / IEC standards and BIS requirements

Oversee conductor drawing, insulation, sheathing, armouring & testing

Maintain product quality and reduce rejection & wastage

Coordinate with QA, maintenance, and stores departments

Ensure proper utilization of copper, aluminium, PVC, XLPE, etc.

Implement safety, electrical, and statutory norms on the shop floor

Prepare production MIS, efficiency, and output reports

Lead, train, and supervise production teams

⚡ Required Knowledge & Skills:

Strong knowledge of electrical cable & wire manufacturing

Understanding of voltage grades, electrical specifications & testing

Knowledge of IS standards, BIS marking, and quality audits

Ability to read electrical drawings and cable datasheets

Hands-on experience with cable manufacturing machinery

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
