Toolroom Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage tool room machinery for maintenance and development of tools and dies.
• Read, interpret, and work accurately from engineering drawings.
• Use precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges) for inspections and quality checks.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize tools for Rigid and soft PVC profile extrusion and plastic pipe manufacturing.
• Maintain proper documentation of tool maintenance, modifications, and history.
• Assist in the development of new tools and dies as per production requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in the tool room.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of tool room operations (basic and specific).
• Proficient in engineering drawing interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, gauges).
• Knowledge of gasket extrusion  and rigid profile extrusion processes.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in pipe/plastic industries is preferred.
• Prepare Monthly and yearly PM Plan
